Squirrels - have been busy in the classroom

We have had a great first week back to the term. We have focused on autumn in science and identified the signs of autumn on a local walk. We saw golden, red, yellow, orange and brown leaves on the trees and floating down to the ground. We also splashed in muddy puddles and felt soggy leaves under our feet.

In English we used our knowledge of autumn and generated adjectives to describe what we saw. In maths we have focused on fact families and used part, part whole models to do this. Mrs Nash, Mrs Foster and Mrs Spencer have been super impressed at how we applied our mathematical knowledge.

In Art we have been exploring different types of lines. We then applied this to help us to make firework pictures using pastels. They looked so bright and colourful!
