Circle Games and Banana Cake
Mrs Hinds made a banana cake which we tried at snack time, lots of us enjoyed eating it so, we will have a go at making a banana cake in class. Mrs Hinds also brought in a home grown cucumber for us to try, it was a different shape and texture to the ones we buy at the shops, but it tasted delicious.
We have been learning to play some circle time games which are helping us to learn each other’s name, take turns and follow rules. Keeper of the keys is the favourite game at the moment. One of the children sits on a chair in the middle of the circle and closes their eyes. Mrs Hinds chooses some to take the keys as quietly as possible and hide them behind their back. The person on the chair has to open their eyes and decide who might have taken the keys. They have 3 chances to guess the correct person.
