PE - Apparatus
In PE this week, we have started to learn how to use small apparatus negotiating space around with confidence and speed. We have experimented with moving in different ways - walking on tip-toes like a giraffe, a monkey walk - supporting our weight on our hands and feet. Caterpillar walk - moving our hands and keeping our feet still and then keep our hands still and walk our feet to our hands. Bunny jumps - little jumps putting weight on our hands, then our feet.
We responded to a tambourine by moving around the equipment and when it stopped we made balances next to the equipment but without touching. Then we made balances touching the equipment but we still had to keep part of our body on the floor.
